The keyboard in this picture however, apparently had something of a sizable weight dropped on it. Whatever it was, it hit the keyboard with such a force that it bent the underlying metal backplate of the keyboard, destroyed a couple of the plastic key hinges and somehow managed to apply enough force to completely disconnect the cable that connects the LCD panel to the system board. When the machine came in, it had no video on the LCD, was loaded with several viruses and trojans, was missing a few keys and was running slow as molasses. When it left, it looked and ran like new. The old keyboard was removed and replaced with a new one, the LCD panel connector was reconnected, the cooling fans and heatsinks were cleaned of all loose dust and debris, the exterior casing and the LCD screen were cleaned and the viruses and trojans were removed without losing any data or programs from the hard drive. Just another day at the office.

True dat
This is a lovely post. And the customer was thrilled to have it back in far better shape than it was dropped off in.
